About Anna

Hi, I’m Anna, a 25-year-old native Russian language teacher. I was born and raised in Russia, where I completed my higher education, and now I live in London. I believe in a supportive approach to teaching. Our lessons will be a safe space where you can make mistakes, openly share what you like or dislike, and celebrate your successes as we work together toward your goals. In every lesson, I’ll listen closely to you and take notes on new vocabulary, pronunciation, and other details to help you reinforce the material and analyse any mistakes. If you find it hard to follow what I say in Russian, I can always provide additional explanations in English to make things clearer. My experience living abroad has introduced me to wonderful people and valuable knowledge about the world. In our lessons, it won’t just be me teaching you Russian—you’ll also have the chance to teach me about your culture.

About the lesson

In our lessons, we’ll take a comprehensive approach to language learning. You’ll learn a lot of new vocabulary, practise grammar, role-play real-life situations, and break down any language barriers. I design each lesson individually, tailoring the vocabulary and grammar to fit your needs, with a focus on your strengths. Depending on which learning style works best for you, we’ll use materials that align with your preferences. I incorporate modern tools like FigmaJam and Miro to make learning more engaging and effective. We’ll also play plenty of interactive games to keep things fun and dynamic. You choose the lesson time that works best for you. I recommend sessions lasting from 50 minutes to 1.5 hours for maximum efficiency. I have two years of private teaching experience working with students from abroad who came to Russia to study. I work with all age groups and adapt to different skill levels and learning goals.
