About TK Isha
Hi, I'm Isha — an Engineering graduate and data professional based in the UAE, with a genuine passion for making Math accessible to students who've been told it's "just not for them."
I graduated from NED University of Engineering & Technology with a degree in Telecommunications Engineering and a GPA of 3.7 — one of Pakistan's most competitive engineering institutions. But what sets me apart as a tutor isn't just my academic background. It's the fact that I use Mathematics, Statistics, and data modeling every single day in my professional career at Emirates dnata, one of the world's leading aviation and logistics groups.
That real-world experience means I don't just teach formulas — I teach understanding. I know which concepts students find most confusing, where the common mistakes happen, and how to explain abstract ideas in ways that finally make them click.
Over the years, I have mentored colleagues, delivered training sessions, and guided teams through complex analytical concepts in a professional setting. I bring that same patience, structure, and clarity to every tutoring session.
My sessions are professional, punctual, and fully tailored to each student's needs and learning pace. I take my students' progress seriously — and I don't consider a session successful unless the student leaves it more confident than when they arrived.

I believe the reason most students struggle with Math isn’t a lack of ability — it’s that the subject is taught in isolation, disconnected from anything meaningful. My approach flips that. I teach by anchoring every concept to real-world context first, so students understand the “why” before they tackle the “how.”
As a Telecommunications Engineering graduate from NED University (GPA 3.7) and a data professional at Emirates dnata, I use statistics, probability, and mathematical modeling in my work every single day. That practical foundation means I can show students exactly where these subjects live beyond the classroom — which makes concepts stick faster and feel far less intimidating.
MY TEACHING METHODOLOGY
I use a three-step approach in every session:
1. Diagnose — I start by identifying exactly where the gap is, not just what topic we’re covering. A student struggling with trigonometry may actually have a weak algebra foundation. We fix the root, not the symptom.
2. Explain — I break concepts down using plain language, visual aids, and worked examples before introducing formal notation or formulas.
3. Reinforce — Students solve problems independently while I observe, correct in real time, and build their confidence to work without support.
Sessions are conversational, not lecture-style. I encourage questions at every step and adjust my pace based on how the student is responding — not based on a fixed syllabus timeline.
LESSON STRUCTURE
Typical sessions run 60 minutes, with 90-minute sessions available for exam preparation or covering multiple topics. I recommend a minimum of 2 sessions per week for students preparing for exams.
