About Tamarantha
I am a Psychology with Developmental Disorders 2nd year student, and have a range of experience working with others. These include:
- Mentoring a class of children aged 11 to 13
- 1 to 1 Mentoring adolescents going through GCSES and providing feedback and materials to help with their studies
- Supporting first year university students through the transition from A-level to university life
- Volunteering in a special needs school doing 1 to 1 support with children with developmental disorders
- Working in The Dome Restaurant, both in the Bar serving drinks and providing table service in the restaurant.
- Being part of the Student Ambassador team and directing aspiring student around the campus, providing feedback on my own university life and encouraging them to join USW.
- Being a student helper within USW library, providing support for other students are the university
- Providing support for my own classmates through being a Course Representative.
- Completing levels 1 and 2 in Dyscovery centre internship where I had the opportunity to conduct an experiment. A presentation was required at the end summarising what i have done, which i achieved 96% in.

My teaching method is a combination between discussion and hands on practical work. Its no fun just to be talked at, so through this way the lessons will be interactive and focus purely on enhancing your understanding of and interest in the content you want to cover.
