About XUAN
I am a patient and approachable online tutor who aims to make Mathematics and School Science easier and less intimidating for students. I understand that learning online can sometimes make it harder for students to stay focused or ask questions, so I keep my lessons interactive, clear, and paced according to each student's needs.
During online lessons, I explain concepts step by step, work through examples together with the student, and use practice questions to check their understanding. Students are always encouraged to ask questions, and I am happy to explain a concept in a different way if they do not understand it the first time.
Although I am not a formally qualified teacher, I take my responsibility as a tutor seriously. I prepare for lessons in advance, communicate professionally, and focus mainly on helping primary and lower-secondary students strengthen their foundations in Mathematics and Science.
My goal is to create a comfortable online learning environment where students can improve their understanding, become more confident in solving problems independently, and feel comfortable saying, “I don't understand this yet.”

My online lessons are designed to make Mathematics and School Science easier to understand, especially for students who may struggle to follow lessons at school or need concepts explained at a slower pace.
I teach step by step, starting with the basics before moving on to more challenging questions. For Mathematics, I focus on helping students understand why a method works instead of simply memorizing formulas. For Science, I use simple explanations, examples, and relatable situations to help students understand and remember important concepts.
During each online lesson, I will explain the topic, work through examples together with the student, and then provide practice questions to check their understanding. I encourage students to ask questions freely and will adjust my explanations and pace according to how they learn.
A typical lesson is around 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted depending on the student's age, level, and learning needs.
I am currently starting my journey as a tutor rather than claiming years of professional teaching experience. However, I am patient, responsible, and committed to preparing properly for each lesson and providing a supportive online learning environment.
My lessons are best suited for primary and lower-secondary students who need additional support in Mathematics or School Science, whether they want to strengthen their foundation, improve their schoolwork, prepare for tests, or simply become more confident in the subject.
