The two most important things that should be taught in school are Personal Finance and MS Excel. With those two skills you can take your true passion in life and turn it into a rewarding business/career.
I come from a family of educators and the core of what I do is educating individuals about their own financial situation. But you must know math and technology to do both of those. I currently coach at a local university and create amazing videos for them. I have taught and coached at high schools in other states starting in math and then moving to the business and finance classes, and multimedia web design.

I graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2010 with a BSBA in Finance and a BS in Economics.
I typically work with high school (15+) and college students in their coursework for General Math, Finance program, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Econometrics (Stats on steroids), as well as adults to better understand their business and "Back Office" duties: Accounting, MS Outlook contact management, Mail Merges, MS Excel, Adobe Photoshop (for social media content, logos, brochures) and Adobe Premiere (for video editing).
