About Tayler
Hi there, I’m Tayler! I’m a full-time nursing student and a single mom, so I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to balance school, responsibilities, and everything life throws at you.
I’ve had subjects that once felt incredibly difficult to me, and I know how frustrating it can be when something just doesn’t click. That experience has made me patient, understanding, and passionate about helping others learn without feeling embarrassed or discouraged.
I’m tutoring because I want to help other students succeed while also creating a little extra support for myself and my kids as we work toward a better future. We’re all on our own journey, and if I can help make yours a little easier while working toward my own goals, that’s a win for both of us!

My teaching approach is simple, I want you to understand the “why,” rather than memorizing formulas. As a nursing student, I know firsthand how overwhelming math can feel. Math was once genuinely difficult for me, but through my journey as a nursing student, I have learned skills that have made me wonder "I can't believe this is all I needed for it to click"! Now solving a math problem feels almost as routine as folding laundry!
I use a patient, step-by-step approach and break difficult problems into simple pieces. We’ll work through examples together, find exactly where you’re getting stuck, and practice until it clicks.
I can help with **math at all grade levels**, from elementary and middle school math to high school, college statistics, and medical math. I also specialize in dosage calculations, conversions, fractions, decimals, percentages, and dimensional analysis.
My goal is to make math less intimidating and help you feel confident solving problems on your own.
