About Caleb
My educational background is Applied Linguistics giving me the theoretical underpinning to guide you in your journey learning the Arabic language. I have over a decade of experience with the Arabic language and have lived in both Iraq and Egypt where I taught English as a second language.

While people commonly believe that teachers who teacher their first language are most qualified to teach their language, it often isn't the case. Non-native teachers tend to have a better understanding of the grammar and are able to present lessons in a more accessible and relatable way having previously been a learner of the same language they are teaching. I noticed the advantage non-native ESL teachers had in the classroom and I will offer you the same advantage as a non-native Arabic tutor.
