About Branden
I have been tutoring for seven years, both privately and through one of the nation’s largest agencies.
I am an honors student at the College of Public Health at the Ohio State University, working towards my BSPH in Environmental Health Science. I am also a registered EMT and Stop the Bleed instructor.
Another service I provide is ACT tutoring, which I received a perfect 36 on as a Junior.
I have extensive experience with students with ADHD and Autism, and tailor my methods to individual students’ needs.

I tutor K-12 through college in math and science. My philosophy is that memorizing is hard, understanding is easy. When students really understand the concepts and methods they’re using, the work becomes easier.
Before the first session, I like to communicate with my students about what they’re currently working on in class so I can have the best resources for them ready. I also strongly believe in teaching students how to find online resources to help themselves.
In a typical first session, I will conduct a brief assessment, then me and the student will set goals together before we begin working.
I use creative methods to keep students with ADHD and Autism engaged and invested, including timed breaks, reward systems, and even physical activity breaks.
