About Philip

Hello, I’m Phil Kay, a professional Actor and Private Tutor based in London. I trained in Classical Acting and spent four years teaching and tutoring acting in London. I’m currently represented by a London agency and work across feature films, television projects, and theatre productions, as well as writing my own plays and scripts.

When I’m not performing, I’m passionate about sharing my experience and training with others — from beginners discovering acting for the first time, to experienced performers refining their craft.

My students come from all backgrounds and ages, each with their own goals and reasons for taking lessons. Some are young aspiring actors preparing for drama school or auditions, while others are professionals and adults who take acting lessons to build confidence, improve public speaking, or enhance vocal technique — including delivery, articulation, and accent work.

My goal as a tutor is to create a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment where you can explore, experiment, and grow as both a performer and a person.

About the lesson

My one-to-one Acting Coaching sessions are completely tailored to you — your goals, your experience level, and the performer (or person) you want to become.

Whether you’re preparing for auditions, working on camera confidence, or simply looking to unlock your full potential, these sessions are designed to help you learn new skills you didn’t think you could and refine the ones you already have.

My aim is to help you perform with confidence, truth, and authenticity, while breaking any habits that hold you back from being fully present, connected, and creative in your work.

Acting for Stage — learn to command a space, project your voice, and connect with an audience.
