About Jerry
I’m a University of Melbourne Maths undergraduate (wam96) and a recipient of the Narrm Scholarship. I’m also a VCE graduate with ATAR 98.5 (Study Score highlights: Chemistry 44, Mathematical Methods 44, Specialist Maths 44). At university, I achieved 93 in Linear Algebra and 98 in Calculus 2. I have 2 years of tutoring experience.
I genuinely enjoy helping students “get it” instead of memorizing steps. I tutor because I’ve seen how small misunderstandings can snowball into a loss of confidence, and how quickly results improve once the basics are rebuilt properly. My style is patient, structured, and exam-aware: I explain ideas clearly, ask guiding questions, and help you develop a method you can repeat under pressure. I work well with both students who need a confidence reset and high achievers aiming for top scores.
