About Harry
Hi! I'm a friendly and enthusiastic tutor with a genuine passion for mathematics and helping others succeed. I achieved an A* in GCSE Mathematics and am currently predicted an A in both A Level Mathematics and Physics. Having recently studied these subjects myself, I understand the GCSE curriculum and the challenges students often face.
Outside of my studies, I've gained valuable tutoring experience by regularly helping my two younger brothers with their schoolwork and supporting younger students in my sixth form with their studies. These experiences have helped me develop a patient, encouraging teaching style that focuses on building confidence as well as academic ability. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.

I offer engaging, personalised online GCSE Mathematics lessons designed to build confidence, strengthen understanding, and improve exam performance. Having achieved an A* at GCSE Mathematics and being predicted an A in both A Level Mathematics and Physics, I understand the GCSE syllabus and the skills needed to succeed.
My teaching focuses on explaining concepts clearly before working through guided examples and exam-style questions. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and adapt my explanations to suit their learning style, ensuring they develop both confidence and independent problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson begins with a review of previous topics or any areas the student found challenging. We then learn a new concept through clear explanations and worked examples, followed by plenty of practice questions. Each lesson finishes with exam-style questions and a summary of key points, with optional homework to reinforce learning.
My recent experience studying GCSE and A Level Maths means I understand the common challenges students face and can explain topics in a clear, relatable way. I focus not only on teaching the content but also on effective exam techniques, helping students maximise their marks.
Lessons are suitable for GCSE Mathematics students of all abilities, whether they are aiming to pass the exam, improve their grades, or achieve the highest grades (7–9). Sessions are tailored to each student's goals and can provide ongoing support throughout the academic year or focused revision before exams.
