About Fiona
I am a tenured violinist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and have over ten years of experience teaching students of all levels.
As a performer, I have appeared as a soloist with orchestras and performed in major concert halls across the United States, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Symphony Hall in Boston and Chicago. I have also performed internationally in Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea.
I am a prizewinner of international competitions and was selected to participate in the Indianapolis International Violin Competition. I also received a Gold Award at the Berlin Music Competition in 2019.

In my teaching, I focus on building a healthy, efficient technique, strong musical foundations, and confidence in performance. Each lesson is tailored to the individual student, whether you are a beginner, an advancing student, or an adult returning to the violin.
Lessons are offered online in English and Chinese. My goal is to help students make consistent progress while developing a natural and sustainable relationship with the instrument.
