About Nina
"Scoring 520+ on the MCAT set my trajectory toward the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. I spent years as an organic chemistry TA at an R1 university before transitioning into full-time tutoring. My background covers alcohols and ethers and NMR spectroscopy.
I also specialize in carbonyl chemistry and synthesis pathways. Curved arrow notation and functional groups define my daily work. Resonance and acidity as well as retrosynthesis are core components. Mechanism drawing and aromatic chemistry remain my primary focus areas."
