About Sophie

I came to yoga nine years ago during a period of unemployment. Feeling bored, I decided to try yoga classes. I vividly remember the first time yoga brought me to tears—not from anything particularly profound or spiritual (though that’s definitely part of it), but from a feeling in my body I had never experienced before.

I didn’t have a background in dance or sports, so developing control and awareness of my body was a new experience. This sensation was wonderful and led me to want to learn everything I could about the practice.

Nine months later, I moved to a yoga retreat and immersed myself in the practice for six months. Eventually, I signed up for a teacher training because I had so many questions (at that point, I had no intention to teach). But just a few months after completing my training, teaching offers started coming in right away!

And the rest, as they say, is history!

I have a friendly and inclusive approach. Whether you're looking to get stronger, improve flexibility, or learn how to regulate your nervous system to find more calm, I've got you.

people come to yoga for all kinds of reasons, maybe you have an old injury from playing a sport and would like to improve your range of motion, perhaps you are feeling stressed with work or commitments and need some time to unwind and find some inner calm or maybe you just want to be able to do a push up with ease.

whatever your reason, private yoga sessions can be incredibly enriching.
