About Peter
I picked up my first camera when I was 15 years old ... and that was 46 years ago. I've rarely had a camera out of my hand since. Over the years, I've nurtured teams of creative people across a broad range of disciplines. Photography, particularly portraiture, has been an all consuming passion for most of my life.

I tailor my classes to the individual. This means that, together, we can meet and supersede your expectations. Whether you're looking for basic instruction on how to best use your first camera or you're wanting a mentor to assist you in taking that next step or to specialise in a particular discipline.
Our lessons will be based on practical exercises. A short hit of theory using examples from the great photographers, followed by an assignment and then critique of your work. These will be 'no pressure' and you can work at your own pace. I know that this can appear to be quite intimidating and so each lesson will be delivered with maximum patience.
Age is no barrier! I can teach any age and any class size. So, if it's just you or if you have a group of friends with a similar interest, we can have fun while exploring the world of photography.
