About Isaac
I spent four years working with students from ages 5 to 25. The most important way to connect with students is to meet them where they are. A productive tutoring environment is built on two-way communication and we will find the best way to communicate complex mathematical concepts together.

After graduating from high school with a passion in math and interest in engineering, I needed to make a plan. To get myself through college, I found a math tutoring job. For four years, I balanced the varied educational needs of my students, from kids first learning to add to college students learning calculus. I worked in both individual and group environments to break down complex mathematical concepts and communicate them in a way that the student could understand. Now that I have graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Civil Engineering, I am looking for new students.
It is important to address mathematical frustrations at the root issue. For example, I have consistently noticed that students struggling with calculus are often behind on the algebra fundamentals, and those struggling with algebra are behind on their multiplication/division fundamentals. It's important we develop a two-pronged approach that can address both and set up your student for success!
