About Lian
I am based in London. I completed my undergraduate degree at UCL in History and my Master's at Cambridge in History and Philosophy. I most recently sat the UCAT and received 4 offers from medical schools, and intend to begin Medicine at Warwick in September. I am happy to help with humanities subjects and also UCAT prep, particularly students who come from a Humanities background and hope to go to medical school :)

I like to change my style of teaching depending on my student and how they learn best. Some students, particularly older ones, prefer knowledge recaps and lecture-style lessons. Other students prefer and learn best from teaching with visual cues and diagrams, so I like to incorporate those. I also put a strong emphasis on active learning and encouraging students to be proactive, as I believe it facilitates understanding and memory retention.
