About Whitney
I found a deep love for yoga over a decade ago and have continued with the devotion to the practice with reverence. Spreading the yogic knowledge that I've absorbed through trainings, practice, and time brings me immense joy; I believe that I can be a conduit for the yogic traditions and modern styles. My yoga teaching experience ranges from group studio classes, group online classes, 1-on-1 sessions, women's circles and corporate yoga / meditation classes. Additionally, I have been teaching English as a second language for years and have developed a strong sense of how to provide information in an easy-to-digest manner with warmth and comfortability. I teach yoga to give the gift that teachers gave to me.

My methodology stems from the idea that when one is in a comfortable environment, they will absorb information more efficiently; I create a warm and welcoming space for learning, discovering, and growth. My classes are customized to the needs of the student(s) in every way. One size does not fit all, one approach does not fit all; I am here to meet my students where they're at. I tailor yoga / meditation classes or mentoring sessions for the individual(s). We can work on asana alignment, personalized asana / pranayama / meditation sequences and ancient methods that are designed for what your body, mind and spirit are calling in. Through communication, we can find out why you are looking deeper into the beautiful science of yoga.
