About Abigail
I'm a highly motivated and conscientious teacher, and I love my work. As a teacher, I understand what students are going through. Especially in Science; they have a great deal of content to learn, at a fast pace. It's easy to fall behind and become disoriented, so I am happy to spend time outside of the classroom supporting students wherever I can. I am also very willing to take students who are already confident and capable scientists, who would value the opportunity for more guided exam practice.

As your tutor, I'll sit with you, calmly go over a few topics and figure out where you are, and we'll work together to fill in the gaps, to build your understanding and confidence. I'll work with you at your pace - my job is to help you feel at ease and ready to learn. If you're preparing for exams, I have a great deal of experience with those, and I'll help you to practise your technique. Even the most knowledgeable and capable students find it hard to secure full marks in exams, and it's because questions are worded in strange and unfamiliar ways. I'll spend time guiding you through various question types, and demonstrating how you can work through them to secure all of the available marks.

Abigail is brilliant. I missed a lot of school and I was totally overwhelmed so my teachers recommended I get a tutor as well. She's helped me so much.
