Hello, my name is Katie Wright! I'm a passionate first-grade teacher with 4 years of experience helping K–5 students build strong foundations in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. I specialize in making learning fun, engaging, and tailored to each child’s unique needs.
In my teaching, I use a mix of hands-on activities, visual supports, games, and step-by-step guidance to help students grow in confidence and skills. Whether a child needs extra support or enrichment, I meet them where they are and help them move forward with joy and purpose.
I work with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, including early readers and writers, students who need math reinforcement, children who benefit from patient, one-on-one instruction, and learners needing extra support or enrichment beyond the classroom.
