About Raisa

Hello! For the last 7 years, I have worked hard to support students in my classroom to become independent Mathematical thinkers. I truly believe everybody can become an expert Mathematician and am committed to helping students realise this too! I currently teach Maths in a mainstream secondary school, which means I fully understand the difficulties that students have faced over the last 3 years. I am fully qualified to teach up to Edexcel Maths GCSE and AQA Further Maths GCSE, whilst also able to provide assistance with AS Core. Having been a leader in my school community for several years, I have a robust knowledge of the curriculum and requirements for exams. I tailor my lessons to suit your needs. Once I have an idea of what your current skills are, I will create a plan to guide us on our way to achieving your goals. Despite having qualified as a Maths teacher, I also have a degree in English Literature, so am able to support students up to KS3 level with English skills.
