About Jon

In the past three years, I've specialised in Maths & SEND education, helping hundreds of students reach their full potential. I became passionate about tackling Maths Anxiety, and so created BrainySpinach Maths Tuition - teaching kids aged 6-11 Maths through fun and innovative Roblox games so that they no longer fear Maths and are prepared for STEM vocations. WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU: I will help your child learn to love Maths and see it as something to look forward to. Most teachers, whether in schools or at home, don't have the time or energy to dedicate to making Maths a truly fun subject, which leads to children not being interested in pursuing it for a career. WHO I WORK WITH: Parents and educators who want to help their child learn to love Maths.

CORE OUTCOMES OF WORKING WITH ME: ° An interactive Maths experience like no other Unlike many Maths Tutors who struggle to make lessons engaging, I bring the subject to where your child is already having a tonne of fun - Roblox! They can play Roblox, learn Maths and earn Robux all at once, there's nothing quite like it! Not to mention, the games are completely free. ° Lessons matched to your child's ability My online maths sessions ensure pupils are challenged in just the right ways, while helping them understand the underlying principles of Maths, improving their 'number sense' whatever level they may be. ° Increased confidence in Maths My lessons and games provide your child with a safe and engaging environment to attempt questions and challenge themselves, regardless of their background or educational needs - all while being allowed to make mistakes without fear. HOW I DO IT: If working with me, your child will be taken on a journey through the topic of choice - turning them into happy, confident children that can't wait to learn more! I also run big weekly events through my Livestreams on YouTube & Twitch, where my students get the chance to challenge each other in races, quizzes and more with huge prizes to be won!

I offer both Classes, as well as 1:1 tuition. My Classes have up to 10 students joining, and the details can be found at brainyspinach dot com. My rates are the following: BrainySpinach Maths 1:1 - £40 p/h BrainySpinach Maths Group Classes - £14 p/h, all Classes can be seen on my website (concealed information) All lessons will currently be held online.
