About Wasif
I’m a fun, approachable person who genuinely enjoys teaching mathematics. I’ve always believed that students learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and confident. Therefore, I focus on building strong relationships with my students and creating a safe, welcoming space where everyone feels encouraged to ask questions. I teach the way I always wished my own teachers had taught me—by making math interesting, engaging, and meaningful. To me, math is like a game. When it’s taught with curiosity and real-world examples, students don’t need to memorize endless formulas; they naturally understand the concepts and start enjoying the subject. I focus on building strong foundations, using practical examples and intuitive explanations so students can truly visualize and apply what they’re learning. My goal is not just to achieve better grades, but also to gain confidence and develop a genuine understanding. Outside teaching, I enjoy storytelling, filmmaking, writing novels, swimming, and badminton—and yes, I have plenty of stories to share in class too. Looking forward to learning together. See you

I teach through live online classes on Zoom or Google Meet, using a laptop connected to a tablet so I can explain concepts visually and solve questions step by step, just like in a classroom. My focus is on clear understanding first, followed by plenty of practice and exam-style questions.
I am happy to provide a free demo of 30 mins before the 1st lesson. Each lesson is 1 hour long. I make sure students actively participate, give practice tests, and always summarise the full lecture at the end so key ideas and methods stay clear.
I have an undergraduate background in Mathematics and Economics, along with 10+ international certifications in Mathematics from prestigious universities. I bring 5+ years of teaching experience, both online and in physical classrooms, and I’ve also worked as a full-time high school teacher for two years.
My lessons are for high-school Mathematics students studying Cambridge IGCSE, O Level, A Level, AP, and other international curricula. I genuinely enjoy teaching and take pride in helping students gain confidence and improve their results.
