About Mia
Hi! I’m currently an A-level student with a passion for maths. I truly believe that children can often learn better from someone closer to their own age—someone who understands what school life is really like. I’m here not just as a tutor, but as someone they can talk to, whether it’s about tricky topics or just having a moan about school! My main aim is to keep my own love for maths alive while inspiring others to enjoy it too. With a friendly, relatable approach, I hope to show students that maths isn’t just about numbers—it’s about discovering patterns, solving puzzles, and unlocking potential. Let’s make learning maths a positive and rewarding experience together!

I focus on building a strong foundation, tailoring lessons to each student’s unique needs, and boosting their confidence through positive reinforcement. My standard lesson is 30 minutes—perfect for maintaining focus and energy—but longer sessions can be arranged if needed. I have 3 years of tutoring experience, during which I have helped young students build their skills and confidence. I teach young kids starting their maths journey and students up to GCSE level, ensuring they have the tools to succeed at every stage.
