About Eve
I am a first class graduate after having studied Maths with Business and Management at the University of Manchester. Maths is my passion.
I would say one of my greatest strengths is my patience. The work I have done with children has taught me so much; listening and observing are my strengths, and help me help others to achieve. I’m happy to go into detail, breaking down a problem right from the start so you can work right through to the end of a problem but I like to pick up what works for others best and can easily adapt to other people’s learning styles. As a student with a disability I have seen what life is like from an impatient teacher’s perspective – I don’t like it – I think this really helps me to help others.
I’ve tutored at least 150 students regularly and have over 5000 hours experience in tutoring KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE (KS4) Higher and Foundation, and Pure Maths A Level (KS5) with the exams boards AQA, OCR, WJEC and Edexcel. I’ve also helped with understanding other courses so please feel free to ask! Please note I’m not familiar with the applied maths A Level Spectrum.
With end of term holidays, due to less lessons taking place, I will normally rearrange lessons.
Please understand that I need 48 hours notice from time of booking to prepare for a lesson to ensure you get the best lesson prepared for you

As a student with a disability I have seen what life is like from an impatient teacher’s perspective – I don’t like it – I think this really helps me to help others. I try to adapt each lesson to each student’s needs.
I prepare each lesson in advance and set homework. In every lesson I ask how I can help each student that week to make sure we maximise our time together.
