About Liandri

Hello aspiring photographers and storytellers,

I'm thrilled to embark on this creative journey with you. My name is Liandri, and I bring a unique blend of education and hands-on experience to our learning space.

With a BA in Communication, I've honed the art of marketing and visual storytelling. Additionally, a three-year drama course not only deepened my narrative abilities but also instilled in me the invaluable skill of empathy—a cornerstone in the world of photography.

Photography found me as a hobby during my university days, gradually blossoming into a passion for capturing the beauty of weddings. Over the past five years, I've had the privilege of documenting over 100 love stories, each adding to the tapestry of my experience.

I'm largely self-taught, navigating the intricate paths of photography on my own. However, I've always yearned for a mentor—a guiding hand to offer insights and share the challenges of this industry. This longing is what fuels my passion for teaching. I understand the nuances of entering this field, and I'm here to bridge the gap, providing support and knowledge to help you thrive.

My commitment to professionalism, combined with the genuine desire to assist you in your journey, forms the foundation of our learning environment. I believe in transparency, so rest assured, my qualifications, experience, and abilities are open for discussion. Let's embark on this transformative adventure together, unlocking the art of visual storytelling and capturing the magic of weddings.

Looking forward to being a part of your creative growth.

Best regards,
Liandri

As a wedding and lifestyle photographer and storyteller, my teaching methodology is rooted in a personalised approach. I believe in cultivating a creative and supportive learning environment. What sets me apart is the fusion of technical expertise with a deep understanding of the emotional nuances that make wedding photography an art form.

I am proficient in English and Afrikaans. This multilingual proficiency ensures clear communication and effective instruction tailored to the student's language preference.

Each lesson is a collaborative journey where we explore the intricacies of wedding photography together. Expect a balance of theory and practical application, with a focus on honing both technical skills and the ability to tell compelling stories through photographs. I provide constructive feedback, encouraging self-expression while refining techniques.

My lessons are designed for a diverse audience, catering to both beginners and experienced photographers seeking to specialise in wedding photography. Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to elevate your existing skills, my teaching adapts to individual learning levels and aspirations.

I understand that each student is unique. Therefore, my lessons are customized to address specific needs and interests. Whether you're interested in mastering camera settings, post-processing techniques, or developing a distinctive storytelling style, I tailor the lessons to align with your goals.

In summary, students can expect a personalised and immersive learning experience that combines technical prowess with the art of storytelling. My proficiency in multiple languages and adaptability to various learning levels make the lessons accessible and enriching for a broad spectrum of aspiring wedding and lifestyle photographers.
