About Emily

I am a passionate and experienced yoga instructor with over 10 years of personal practice and more than 3 years teaching group and private classes. I hold recognized certifications and am committed to providing safe, effective, and tailored sessions for each student. Based in Maroubra, I create a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. My goal is to help students build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness while enjoying their practice. I take pride in maintaining professionalism in every aspect of my teaching, from lesson planning and clear instruction to respectful communication and attention to individual needs. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, you can trust that my classes are thoughtfully designed to help you grow and feel confident in your yoga journey.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching yoga combines mindfulness, alignment, and breath awareness to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. I focus on helping students connect with their body, develop strength and flexibility, and cultivate mental clarity. Each class is tailored to the individual or group, ensuring that everyone can progress at their own pace while feeling encouraged and inspired.

I use a variety of techniques including guided instruction, hands-on adjustments, verbal cues, and demonstrations to ensure clear understanding. I often incorporate modifications for different levels and abilities to make poses accessible and safe for all students.

A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 75 minutes, combining warm-up, core practice, and relaxation or meditation at the end.

I have over 10 years of personal yoga practice and more than 3 years teaching group classes and private sessions. I am certified as a yoga instructor (RYT) and have experience teaching mat and reformer Pilates classes.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, as well as for adults of all ages. I also adapt classes for specific needs, such as improving flexibility, reducing stress, or building strength. My goal is to create a positive, safe, and motivating environment where students can grow and enjoy their practice.
