About Thomas
Hi, I’m Tom :)
I’m a 19 year old medical student studying at Cardiff University. As a medical student I have, and I am developing a wholistic biological knowledge ranging from GCSE to higher level that I can map out for you, showing you how each topic overlaps and helping intercalate this accumulated knowledge to develop a wider understanding and confidence surrounding GCSE biology content.
As a former GCSE and A-Level biology student myself achieving grade 8 at GCSE and A* at A-Level I am aware of the challenges that face you as a student both in and out of the classroom. With my experience I can help you overcome both the hardships that present themselves to you now and highlight future possible challenges to your grades, helping you prepare for when these adversities present themselves, giving you the best chance of overcoming them therefore optimising your biological understanding and so pushing you to achieve the grade that you want.
Additionally, if you plan on studying any higher-level subject with biological foundations in the future, whether that be A-Level biology or a biology-based university course, as a medical student I can provide you with a unique insight into the practical and theoretical applications of the biological theory you learn at GCSE regarding higher level human and pharmaceutical biology/chemistry. I can therefore show demonstrate how GCSE biology is not just theory to be learned but knowledge to be applied into real world scenarios to improve the lives of other people and the lives of animals, helping you develop an appreciation and foundational understanding of the subject or course you would like to study in the future.
