About Adaora
I am a 17 year old International Baccalaureate (equivalent to A levels) student, currently studying 6 subjects. This has made me persevered, organised and incredibly able to work well under pressure. I also do a lot of charity work in my local community in London so I am extremely patient and effective at communicating with younger individuals.
I often tutor my little sister and younger cousins for tests and exams so have a lot of experiences with teaching subjects such as Maths, English and sciences.

The teaching style I use most often, is going over a brief summary of the necessary topic and asking the tutee questions on each area of the topic. This allows me to identify the specific needs and areas of difficulty that the child has in this topic. I find that this is more efficient than simply asking the child what areas they need help in as well as allowing the child realise topics of difficulty that they weren’t even aware of.
After this, we would go over the topic in depth, do a few practice questions and then I would ask the student the same questions I asked at the beginning that they struggled with answering.
I am very fleixible with this method however and am very willing to alter this depending on the student.
