About Holly
I absolutely love to educate people, especially when they have a passion/interest in a specific topic. Sharing knowledge is a huge passion of mine. I have been a pediatric nurse for seven years. I graduated with honors and I am entering into a master's program in the fall with a double major. I have four children that love to learn about the environment, nature, and all things natural sciences.

I have experience teaching a variety of ages in a health setting. I teach very young children about their illness and how to take medication, I teach parents about the illness of their child and how to best provide care for them, as well as what to watch out for to ensure early intervention as needed. I have taught students in a hospital setting, as well as new nurses about procedures, policies, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.
My teaching techniques are tailored to the way a particular student learns. I go as slow as needed, and provide alternate explanations of concepts if a student is not understanding. I love mnemonics and other memory tricks that I come up with on the spot.
I am willing to teach basic health class concepts to all ages, basic biology, introductory microbiology, undergraduate/secondary school anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology. I can also include introductory pharmacology.
