About Taki
2018 saw me get a BA in Live Performance from AFDA. I just wrapped up my stint as a presenter for DSTV, and I am currently working as a freelance entertainer for "South African Murder Mystery" while also going on acting auditions and roles. I've worked in the performing arts and creative space since I was 10; I'm frequently placed in situations that need interaction with others, and I do best in those environments. Due to this, in 2014 and 2018, respectively, I was recognised for best lead and supporting actor. Through these successes, I've come to realise that you are only as strong as your team, and having a good team makes it possible for you to stand strong even when you're working alone. It may often seem like a difficult undertaking to stand in front of the camera, remember your lines, comprehend your character, and strive to be true to that role. Regardless of your level, I will assist you in identifying the best methods for making things as easy as possible using both my training from AFDA and my prior onset expertise. So, anticipate extremely conversational courses where we discuss both your characters and you as a person so I can determine how to relate to you most effectively. With that stated, we will also have interactive lessons where we act and workshop together. In addition, various acting concepts like Stanislavski's, Uta Hagen's, and other methods will be discussed.
