About Tane Williams
I know how daunting it can be working towards an audition. It's hard to know what the casting director is looking for in an actor.
Am I right for the part? Do I fit the part? How do I make myself right for this part? These questions flood our minds every time the sides come through and often drain our self confidence before we even do the scene for the casting director.
I'm here to quieten these voices and help you establish confidence in yourself and your ability. I can promise that no matter how unsure or doubtful you are before our session you will leave with a deeper understanding of your script and a new found confidence in yourself as an actor.

I specialise in acting for beginners and audition preparation.
My goal as a tutor is to help actors prepare scripts for auditions or assignments through script break downs, adding substance and personality to characters and to teach actors how to make the camera fall in love with them.
My teachings are based on acting theories I learned at Whitireia performing Arts school such as Stanislavski's system and Michael Chekhov as well as pulling from my 4 years experience as core cast on the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street as well as multiple roles on U.S feature films.
My lessons will be ideal for actors just beginning, intermediate or advance who have an audition coming up and would like to give their tape a little extra sauce, or anyone with a job booked who would like to give their character that 'extra edge'.
