About Hagos
I believe in the power of personalized support and active involvement in learning. My 9-year-old son has consistently ranked among the top in his class, which I attribute to the positive learning environment I foster at home. I take an active role in his education, helping him understand concepts and guiding him through challenges. This experience has greatly influenced my approach to tutoring. It has taught me the importance of creating a supportive atmosphere where students feel confident and encouraged to ask questions. I have always been passionate about natural sciences and excelled academically. I completed high school at a boarding school focused on natural sciences, which prepared me for engineering. I earned my BSc in Biological and Chemical Engineering, followed by three years as an assistant lecturer. I then pursued an MSc in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Environmental Engineering and worked as a lecturer until starting my PhD at Auburn University last fall. Throughout my academic journey, I have loved math and natural sciences and gained teaching and tutoring experience, including tutoring community students during my BSc.
