About Mandee
I have a Master's in Science in Biomedical Science concentrating in Neuroscience, and am half-way through a PhD degree in Systems and Cellular Neuroscience. I am a fast learner, and can help you gain the skills I have developed as a professional learner. I study the mechanism of migraine and I intend to for the rest of my career. I am passionate about reducing the suffering due to the migraine disease and advocating for fellow migraine patients.
I have a patent for a new therapeutic I was instrumental in developing, and have mastered many laboratory techniques. I care deeply about your progress as a learner, and my progress as a teacher.

I am an expert in neurophysiology and an excellent electrophysiologist. I am a teaching assistant and a PhD candidate and have had wonderful reviews and comments from my students and the instructors I assist.
I can teach general chemistry, biology, neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, laboratory methods, basic neuroscience, cellular biology, neuropharmacology, general pharmacology, and anatomy. If you find you could use assistance in a similar area, please reach out and I will let you know if I can help you.
I can work with you one-on-one on your assignments, review your writing, provide excersizes to help enforce what you are learning, and give you real world applications for your lessons. I am adaptive to your learning style and typically use illustrations to covey concepts.
I can help with any high school or AP level class, and most undergraduate college science courses.
