"As a PhD in Chemistry and an experienced lab instructor and Teaching Assistant (TA), I bring both deep subject knowledge and practical teaching experience to my tutoring. Over the years, I have grown from a nervous TA to a confident educator, overcoming stage fright and learning how to effectively communicate complex topics. I believe in breaking down difficult theories using relatable analogies to ensure students build their understanding from a strong foundation. My teaching approach focuses on fostering mutual respect. I have mentored undergraduate students, guiding them in research and inspiring their academic growth. Many of them have gone on to top medical and dental programs, and I take pride in having contributed to their success. In recognition of my dedication to teaching, I was honored with the F.C. Marks Award for Excellence in Teaching by the Chemistry Department at Cleveland State University. I am passionate about chemistry and eager to share that enthusiasm with my students, helping them achieve their goals and develop a love for the subject."

About the lesson

My teaching style is designed to simplify complex Chemistry topics using visual aids such as diagrams, animations, molecular models, and interactive simulations, making abstract concepts more accessible and memorable. As a dedicated Chemistry tutor, I cover a comprehensive range of subjects—from foundational concepts like Atomic Structure and Periodic Trends to more advanced topics including Organic Chemistry, Thermodynamics, and Biochemistry. I tailor each session to align with the student’s curriculum and academic goals, whether it's mastering class content, preparing for standardized tests, or strengthening core understanding. To support diverse learning environments, I utilize an array of digital platforms including Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, ensuring flexibility and ease of access for remote learners. My lessons are enhanced with digital whiteboards, screen-sharing tools, and custom slide decks, creating an immersive virtual classroom experience. I provide regular assessments, personalized feedback, and study strategies to track and support student improvement.
