About Dr Sandeep
I have completed my Ph.D at Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute, the University of Wollongong focusing my research on molecular biology of dementia (neurodegenerative diseases). Apart from my research work I have also been teaching the third year and second-year biology course to Bachelors and Hons students here at the University (for the past 5 years). In addition, I also am a current tutor at James An Coaching College, Wollongong focusing on my subjects of expertise that is Science and Maths. I have taught students from primary up to high school students both on an individual basis and in a group class setting.

My teaching method is largely based student-centric and performance oriented. I believe each student has his or her own way of learning things and the best way to teach is to understand their requirements and adapt my teaching skills accordingly. I tend to use a lot of real-life examples and simplified illustrations to help the students get a better practical understanding of the topics that they read from the textbooks.
