About Sahaya Glingston
I am a PhD graduate in Medical Microbiology from the University of Antwerp, Belgium, with a Master's degree in Biotechnology from IIT Guwahati, India. I have several years of academic research experience in microbiology, molecular biology, cell biology and genomics.
During my research career, I have supervised undergraduate and Master's students, supporting them with scientific concepts, laboratory research, data interpretation and academic writing. I have also presented my research at international scientific conferences and published my work in peer-reviewed journals.
I bring the same patience, clarity and scientific curiosity to my lessons. Whether you are preparing for an exam, struggling with a particular topic or simply want to understand biology better, my goal is to provide a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in the subject.

I want students to understand biology, not just memorise it. I explain concepts step by step using real-life examples, helping students connect what they learn in textbooks to how living things actually work. My aim is to make students curious about biology and amazed by the science happening within and around us.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and can include concept explanations, diagrams, discussions and practice questions. I teach GCSE and A-Level Biology, as well as university-level Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics and Biotechnology.
