About Yasniel
Originating from San José de las Lajas, Mayabeque, Cuba. Majored in Radiochemistry at the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technologies (InSTEC) of the University of Havana, Cuba, 2017 class. From September 2017 and until January 2018 worked as a specialist in the Radiopharmacy Department of the Isotopic Center (CENTIS), a leader in development of radiopharmaceuticals in Cuba. In February 2024 got his PhD in Nuclear Technology-Applications at the Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares (IPEN/CNEN) of the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. Since April 2024 works mainly with Organic Chemistry, Radiochemistry and Production of Radioisotopes as a post-doctoral fellow at the Cross Cancer Institute of the University of Alberta, Canada.

Hi there! Join me in this amazing journey to learn some chemistry, chemical reactions, mechanisms and everything else you might need. We can do that either in English, Spanish or Portuguese, and we can also work and focus on some Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Chemistry in General. I’m currently working as a post-doctoral fellow at the UofA in Edmonton, AB.
