About Aaron
I am a PhD researcher in Mechanical Engineering with a First Class Honors degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics. My current research involves mathematical modeling, numerical methods, and computational simulation, so maths is central to the work I do every day.
I have a strong academic background in applied mathematics, physics, mechanics, and engineering analysis. I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts by breaking them down clearly and showing how they connect to exam questions and real problem-solving.
I know that maths can feel overwhelming when the basics are unclear, so I aim to create a calm, supportive environment where students can ask questions freely and build confidence step by step.
My goal is to help students improve not only their grades, but also their understanding and independence. I want students to leave each lesson feeling clearer, more capable, and better prepared for exams or coursework.

I aim to make maths feel clear, structured, and manageable. My approach is to first identify where the student is struggling, then build understanding step by step through explanation, examples, and guided practice.
I focus on developing both problem-solving ability and exam technique. Rather than just showing students how to answer one type of question, I try to help them understand the underlying ideas so they can apply them confidently in unfamiliar problems.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for exam preparation or university-level support.
