About Shahbaz
I am a dedicated mathematics educator with a strong academic background from IIT and a research focus in pure and applied mathematics. Having prepared for and succeeded in highly competitive national entrance exams, I bring both subject depth and first-hand insight into rigorous examination strategies.
I teach because I believe mathematics should be intuitive, structured, and empowering rather than a source of anxiety. My lessons are built on interactive, first-principles learning rather than passive memorization. Each class runs for a standard 60 minutes and is conducted live online using an interactive digital whiteboard and graphic tablet.
A typical lesson begins with a 10-minute recap and doubt-clearing session on previous assignments, followed by structured concept development with real-time derivations. Students spend the latter half of the class actively working through multi-level practice problems with guided feedback. Complete lecture notes and solved steps are exported to PDF format immediately after every session.
My classes are designed for students in Grades 8 through 12, as well as those preparing for competitive exams (JEE Main and Advanced) and international curricula (Cambridge IGCSE, AS/A-Level Mathematics, and IB). I tailor the pacing and difficulty to each student's current baseline to ensure measurable improvement in both speed and accuracy.
