About Brittany
My background is in chemistry and geology, in which my previous research experience includes organic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, and geochemistry.
Courses I have taught include,
University lab sections: general chemistry I and II, organic chemistry I and II, nursing chemistry, Earth science I, mineralogy, petrology, and engineering geology.
University lectures: Earth science I
High school classes: chemistry, honors (Pre-AP) chemistry, AP chemistry, environmental science, and AP Environmental science.

My biggest goal for every section is to make the concepts relatable. A student needs to be able to see, first-hand, why their coursework is important and where their coursework can take them in the future. I do not focus on memorization, but understanding the material so application of concepts is easier for the student.
