About Mads
I have a masters degree in chemistry from the University of Southern Denmark ad am currently studying for a PhD in material science jointly between SDU and University of Electronic Science and Technology China. I have been specialized in organic chemistry for the last 4 years.
Jeg have teaching experience, both as a university instructor and as a private tutor.

I base on teaching on a ground up approach, since chemistry, especially organic chemistry, can seem excessively complex and hard to grasp. I have experienced this often in organic chemistry, which on a base level consists of 5 principles, 10 mechanisms, and over 100 reactions. Many students will focus on memorizing the reactions, rather than understanding the underlying theory. Even for students just wanting to pass an exam, this approach is more efficient, as rote memorization will both be slower and yield a poorer result.
