About Amber
I'm a current PhD student specialising in cancer studies at the University of Bristol. I have a 1st class Masters degree in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham. I have previous tutoring experience in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
My teaching style is providing explanation of concepts, allowing pupils to ask questions they may have about various topics/ past paper questions. Then towards exams, revision sessions involving 'blurting' and going over past paper questions to ensure that the mark schemes for questions are being hit.
I have also volunteered as part of an outreach programme with the Women in Science and Engineering society where I have organised and led fun and engaging activities for the KS3 science club at Hillcrest School
