About Igor

I am a social scientist and educator with experience teaching and supporting students at leading UK universities, including the University of Birmingham and the London School of Economics. I hold a PhD in Public Administration.

I have taught and supervised students across economics, public policy, health and social care policy, public sector economics, institutional economics, and quantitative and qualitative research methods. I also have extensive experience supporting students with dissertations, research design, literature reviews, analytical frameworks, methodology chapters, and academic writing.

My teaching has been recognised positively by students, with some of my modules voted among the best courses on their programmes. I enjoy helping students turn complex ideas into clear arguments, improving their confidence, and developing the skills needed to produce strong academic work.

About the lesson

I provide dissertation and academic writing support for undergraduate and postgraduate students in economics, public policy, political economy, social policy, health policy, and related social science subjects.

I can support students with refining research questions, structuring dissertations, developing literature reviews, building analytical frameworks, choosing suitable methods, interpreting evidence, and improving the clarity and coherence of their writing. I also help with qualitative and quantitative methods, including comparative case studies, interviews, survey methods, econometrics, and applied data analysis.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and university requirements. I can provide detailed feedback on draft chapters, explain complex theories and methods in simple terms, and help students strengthen both their immediate assignment and their broader academic skills.

I have experience in university teaching and research, including teaching at the London School of Economics and the University of Birmingham. My background in public sector economics, health economics, health policy, social care, and social policy allows me to help students connect academic theory with real-world policy and economic issues.
