About Megan

I am a second year university student studying Physical Geography and Geology. I am passionate about my subject and would like to share my knowledge by encouraging students to explore Geography at a deeper level with a possible career in this field. I have tutoring and mentoring experiences and I am currently a PALS (Peer Assisted Learning Scheme) and Subject Ambassador for my university course. Having experienced the pressure of exams from the ages of 11-18, I am aware of the difficulties and levels of stress students may face during the course of their school life. I am here to offer support and guidance from a student's perspective with the relevant skills, knowledge, and experience I have gained to become an effective tutor.

About the lesson

I am a Physical Geography and Geology university student with tutoring experience in geography and the sciences. I can teach KS3 up to A-level. I offer you online lessons which are personalised to meet your individual needs in line with the standards of the national curriculum. Your lessons will be an hour minimum unless otherwise requested by you. I will monitor your progress through revision of past exam papers. I will also teach you essential skills needed to successfully write essays and reports, including NEAs (Non-Examined Assessments). I will offer you a flexible teaching approach to meet your ideal method of study and learning.

Megan is very knowledgeable, clear, and committed. At the beginning of my GCSE course, I found I was struggling with geography. Thanks to Megan's hard work, patience, and good teaching I went from a predicted 6 to an 8. I am very pleased with Megan's teaching style and I would recommend Megan to any student sitting their GCSE or A-level geography.
