About Sébastien

Following my graduation from the engineering school of the Albi mining school, I worked for 2 years as an engineer in building thermal engineering then I reconverted as a physics teacher- chemistry in college / high school by following the master 2 in education, education and training. I then passed the CAPES competition for which I finished 9th national.
During these years I also gave tutoring courses through the company Complétude.
And otherwise I'm 28 and I love badminton!

About the lesson

Being currently a college / high school teacher, I am familiar with the programs for each level (college and general high school, technological and professional) and the expectations of the national diploma and baccalaureate exams.

From my point of view, the first session will serve as a test to see what the student's strengths and difficulties are. Following this session it will be a question of setting the objectives to advance the student by doing a small interview with the student and his family (work on methodology, reasoning, calculating skills ...)
[N ] The course of the course will therefore depend on the needs of the pupil and his family (tutoring by doing additional exercises, help with homework, preparation for evaluations, etc.). The distinction must be clear from the start so that the pupil does not think, for example, that the sessions are useful for him to do his homework if we have agreed to do additional exercises. It is also essential that the course is known before the start of each session.

For the organization, I will also offer a link to a googlesheet to follow the evolution of the concepts worked at each session as well as the different dates.

Deadly! Notre fils a eu besoin de rattraper 6 mois de 3ème avant le brevet (du à un déménagement dans l’hémisphère sud). Très bonne prise en main de Sébastien qui sait comment aider notre fils sans pression, en étant très ciblé sur les points à rattraper.
Voici ce que notre fils dit de Sébastien:
« Il couvre bien les sujets, en utilisant les exercices du DNB pour faire bien comprendre. Il te laisse avancer à ton rythme. Il est bienveillant et si tu répond faux à une question, il sait comment l’expliquer et te faire comprendre. »

Arthur (fils de marta) a déjà de bons acquis des niveaux précédents (excellent en calcul mental, rigueur et méthodologie), il comprend très vite et arrive facilement à réappliquer une fois un exemple traité. Il faudra juste faire attention à ne pas trop se précipiter pour éviter les fautes d'inattention. La motivation et l'attitude d'Arthur sont positives car il n'hésite pas à poser des questions lorsqu'il a des incompréhensions.
