About Marianne
My fascination with physics started in my early years, driven by curiosity about how the world works, which led me to earn a Master’s in Physics. Over the past 7 years, I have taught students of different ages and abilities, guiding them to grasp physics concepts clearly while nurturing analytical reasoning and problem-solving confidence.
I create a supportive and interactive environment, using examples, visual aids, experiments, and stepwise explanations to make abstract topics accessible. Each lesson emphasises understanding over memorisation, encouraging curiosity, questioning, and independent thinking in students.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with scientific developments, educational innovations, and practical experiments to enrich lessons. Watching students grow from uncertainty to understanding, develop logical reasoning, and confidently solve problems is immensely rewarding. My aim is to foster both skill and curiosity, inspiring learners to enjoy physics and approach challenges thoughtfully, independently, and confidently.

Physics is most engaging when students can see connections between theory and the world around them. My lessons focus on mechanics, motion, energy, thermodynamics, waves, and electricity, explained with clear examples, visual aids, and simple problem-solving techniques. I encourage active participation, asking questions, and practical demonstrations so students can visualise concepts and develop analytical thinking alongside conceptual understanding. Each lesson balances theory, practice, and reasoning exercises to ensure meaningful learning and confidence.
Lessons are tailored to each student. Beginners explore basic laws of motion, forces, and energy transfer with guided examples. Intermediate learners work on circuits, calculations, and problem-solving strategies. Advanced students focus on derivations, experimental interpretation, and exam preparation techniques. Every session integrates discussion, exercises, and reasoning support to foster steady skill development and self-assurance.
