About Nathalie

Condensed matter physics defined my graduate research at Cornell University and my undergraduate studies at Stanford. I spent 12 years teaching recitation sections for university students while conducting research. These experiences inform how I explain waves, oscillations, electrostatics, and thermodynamics today.

My work focuses on building intuition through numerical problem solving and graph interpretation. Practicing lab work and mechanical analysis allows me to bridge gaps for AP Physics C students. Reach out if you want to explore these concepts in depth.

You will find that your first session focuses on connecting abstract formulas to the tangible world. We examine why an equation exists before manipulating variables for a final answer.

My background at Stanford and Cornell ensures that the math is handled with scientific rigor. I help you navigate the logic behind kinematics and electrostatics through clear, conversational guidance.

Asides on real world applications keep the technical details grounded in reality. Perhaps we will look at how basic oscillators describe complex systems in engineering.

You might notice that building a physical model makes the homework problems feel far more manageable. Working through these mechanics problems together makes the study of physics feel quite coherent. It is satisfying to see how these fundamental laws describe our surroundings.
