About Axel

I am an aerospace engineering student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Ever since my second semester of college, I have offered my tutoring services to my school in the classroom. After 6 semesters of doing that, I believe I’m more than capable of taking on individual students who are genuinely interested in bettering their understanding of the fundamental principle of engineering or how the world works.

About the lesson

I specialize in making kinematics, forces, energy, momentum, rotational motion, and basic mechanical waves clear and approachable. My sessions focus on building problem-solving skills, strengthening conceptual understanding, and preparing for exams with confidence. I also ensure that a lesson is only ended once the student has completely understood the material at hand. Lessons are flexible and tailored to each student’s needs, with a free introductory session to see if my teaching style is a good fit.

Axel is an absolutely awe-inspiring tutor who transformed the way I approach learning. When I first started working with him, I was failing Algebra 2 and Physics and felt completely overwhelmed, but his patience, clarity, and encouragement changed everything. He has a gift for breaking down complicated concepts into simple, understandable steps, while also pushing me to think critically and build real confidence in my abilities. With his guidance, I went from struggling just to keep up to earning straight A’s, something I never thought possible. Axel didn’t just help me improve my grades—he showed me how to believe in myself and discover my full potential as a student.
