About Reese
I discovered my passion for physics through curiosity about how the universe works, from everyday motion to energy transformations. This interest led me to pursue a Master’s in Theoretical Physics and dedicate the past 9 years to teaching students of diverse backgrounds. My teaching emphasises clarity, patience, and structured guidance, helping learners develop understanding, confidence, and problem-solving ability.
I strive to make lessons interactive and relatable, using diagrams, demonstrations, and practical examples to connect theory with experience. I encourage questioning, independent exploration, and critical thinking, tailoring lessons to individual learning styles and abilities to maximise growth and engagement.
Beyond teaching, I remain engaged in physics research, exploring modern developments in energy systems, waves, and theoretical models to enrich lessons. Witnessing students progress from uncertainty to confident application of concepts is deeply satisfying. My goal is to foster curiosity, analytical thinking, and lifelong interest in physics, helping learners feel capable, motivated, and inspired to explore the world scientifically.

Physics becomes more approachable when students can link concepts to real-world phenomena. My lessons cover mechanics, energy, waves, thermodynamics, and introductory quantum ideas. I focus on clear explanations, visual aids, and step-by-step problem-solving so that learners can grasp complex topics confidently. Each session is interactive, encouraging students to ask questions, explore experiments, and apply theoretical knowledge to everyday observations, building both understanding and curiosity.
I adjust lesson plans according to student levels. Beginners start with fundamental concepts, simple calculations, and basic demonstrations.
